What are Neos?
Neos are the world's first carbon offset currency.
Each neo represents one-tenth of a living tree, so the more neos you collect and keep active, the more you are healing your carbon footprint.
When you reward someone with a neo, you are helping them heal their carbon footprint, as neos represent actual trees.
For example, if you have an average car and use it normally, it generates around 5000 kilograms of carbon per year. Ten neos buys a weforest.org tree that will offset 20 kilograms of carbon a year. So if you want guilt-free motoring, you need to have 2,500 neos in your account.
